The Shuttle Space Pen is the latest instalment to the Astronaut pen line and was introduced during the Space Shuttle Program as a light-weight alternative to the original AG7 ‘Anti-Gravity Pen’. The Shuttle Pen is currently used on the International Space Station.

Each Shuttle Space Pen has a modern appearance and is both thinner & lighter than its predecessor the AG7. Composed of solid brass with a shiny chrome finish & black grid design it features a unique dual-action knock mechanism that extends the tip by pressing the top, with a release button on the side to retract it. Its special design assures you will always retract the point before you slide it in your pocket.

Produced in Nevada USA to exacting standards utilising Fisher’s tungsten carbide ballpoint and patented Thixotropic ink in a sealed, pressurised cartridge. Like all Fisher Space Pens, this pen will write in zero-gravity, upside down, underwater, over oil and grease, in -30 to +250 degrees Fahrenheit and three times longer than the average ballpoint pen.
